The Field Hockey BC Foundation thanks you for considering a donation to support field hockey in British Columbia. The information below provides you with options for a donation and a step by step guide to making a donation through our partners at the Vancouver Foundation.
DONOR CONFIDENCE
The Field Hockey BC Foundation is partnered with the first class service offered by the Vancouver Foundation. All Field Hockey BC Foundation Programs are held in perpetuity with the Vancouver Foundation not only ensuring donations are protected for the purposes originally intended but also allowing donations to be eligible for tax receipting purposes.
Field Hockey BC considers it a privilidge to be associated with as reputable an organization as the Vancouver Foundation.
EXISTING PROGRAM
The Field Hockey BC Foundation currently offers the opportunity to donate to a choice of five bursary programs and one capital program.
The program menu is designed to allow donors the opportunity to choose a program of particular interest or one that is close to their heart.
Each program represents a field hockey developmental 'pillar' - athlete, coach, official,and facility.
CREATING YOUR LEGACY
The Field Hockey BC Foundation offers the opportunity for you to create your own personal legacy fund. Whether in your name, your family name, or your business name, Field Hockey BC would be proud to arrange for a fund to meet your desire.
To create a Personal Legacy Fund a minimum donation of $10,000 is required. Field Hockey BC encourages legacy donors to get in touch to talk about your fund, how it will help, and how to draw up terms of reference.
A STEP BY STEP GUIDE TO MAKING A TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION
Through Field Hockey BC's partnership with The Vancouver Foundation, donations are made possible through the donor services offered by The Vancouver Foundation. All donations or gifts of $25 or more are eligible to receive a tax deductible charitable donation receipt. Contributions to the Field Hockey BC Foundation can be made by cheque, on-line donation, as a deferred gift, or publicly traded security. On-Line Donations
On-line donations can be made through the Vancouver Foundation Website by clicking any of the Donate Now buttons located on this site. Donors will be taken to the main Field Hockey BC Foundation page on the Vancouver Foundation website. Donors are able to scroll down to see the detail within each individual program and a donation is made possible by filling in the on-line form at the bottom of the page. Simply select the program you wish to donate to from the drop down menu on the donation form and follow the on-line instructions.
Mail-in Donations
Donors making a gift by cheque should make their cheque payable to the 'Vancouver Foundation', referencing 'The Field Hockey BC Foundation (Title) Program' on the cheque memo line. Cheques should be sent to the following address:
